Ann
Shaw suffered with multiple allergies in the 1970's, at a time
when allergies were rarely acknowledged. |
She
discovered that her symptoms arose from eating everyday foods
and slowly began treating herself through knowledge gained by
studying numerous health books. |
Impressed
with her improvement after treatment by a nutritionist, over 20
years ago, she went on to study nutritional medicine and qualified
in 1992, following a two year course at St. Bartholomews Hospital.
|
She
has successfully treated thousands of patients with a wide variety
of health problems and is a professional member of The British
Association of Nutritional Therapists
B.A.N.T. and The Society for the Promotion of Nutritional
Therapies S.P.N.T. governing bodies. |
She
has been particularly successful in treating Irritable Bowel Syndrome
(IBS), bowel problems, chronic fatigue and candida. |
She
is also a Foresight
counsellor (association for the promotion of pre-conceptual care
and fertility) and area representative for The
Joint Educational Trust, helping children from traumatised
backgrounds. |
